Sustainability

Our Approach

At Kataleya, sustainability isn’t a trend. It is the foundation of who we are and what we stand for. From the beginning, our promise has been simple: no polyester fabrics, not even recycled polyester, and no clothing produced in factories that cut corners by failing to respect labour laws.

Slow Fashion Philosophy

We design capsule collections released only twice a year because we believe less is more. Each piece is timeless, versatile, and interchangeable, helping our customers build wardrobes that work as hard as they do without the waste of fast fashion.

Better Materials

Our fabrics are chosen with intention. We source eco-conscious fibres that feel better on the skin, last longer, and return more gently to the earth at the end of their life cycle. Every garment is a step toward a better world.

Ethical Production

Partnerships matter to us. We work with manufacturers who share our values of fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical craftsmanship. By producing in smaller, intentional runs, we ensure higher quality and less waste.

We’re happy to share that we’ve partnered with two local clothing manufacturers in Ontario, Canada for our first collection launch. ‘Behind the seams’ footage with these manufacturers will be shared via social media.

Sustainable Packaging

Even our packaging reflects our philosophy: recyclable, reusable, and thoughtfully minimal. Sustainability is not just about the clothes themselves , it’s about every step of the process.

Learning, Growing, Improving

At Kataleya, we know sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We are committed to learning, improving, and holding ourselves accountable every step of the way. Together, we can create clothing that looks and feels good while making a positive impact for generations to come.
